AYD Group Float Glass Industry Co. began its journey in the sector as a family business in 1975, initially engaging in regional wholesale glass and distribution activities in Turkey. By 1985, the company had become a significant player in glass distribution across Turkey. In 2000, AYD Group entered the international market by starting glass imports and quickly became one of Turkey’s most prominent glass distribution and marketing companies. In 2010, the company decided to start glass production and began feasibility and infrastructure studies. After a challenging process, the first float glass production line was launched in 2015.
